On Saturday May 3rd we skipped our usual soccer agenda and headed instead over to the Couger Mountain Zoo. It's a small zoo, but the animals are up close and personal (and well cared for). Tigers, llamas, macaws, emus, wallabies, lemurs. We arrived at 9:30 and the tigers were having a blast chasing each other and wrestling and playing with a big blue ball. Some of the macaws talk and are quite intelligible so Bobbin got a kick out of them. The Zoo is also filled with these beautiful bronze statues of animals. Only the camel at the front is "climbable". The rest are just for viewing. But that didn't stop Bobbin from letting "Zebra" sit on them. He's much smaller and lighter, you see.
