I've been into collages lately - I made this one with some scrapbook paper I found and some stickers. The background - the kites and clouds - is a 12x12 scrapbook paper by Best Creations, Inc, whom I've found so far to have by far the best backgrounds. I think you're supposed to mount them in scrap books and overlay photos on top of them but I was inspired to create a scenic view. The kites reminded me of taking Bobbin kite flying with Tim at Gasworks Park last year. So that's what I made. The hills and "Lake Union" are various scraps of paper I had lying around, the flowers are glued on, and the sailboats, sun, seagull, tree, and Space Needle were all 3-dimensional stickers that I found. I framed it and put it in Bobbin's room. I've since done another one - with a fairytale theme - a castle and hills, carriage, princess, prince, and fairies - same sort of way. I'm good, if I may say so myself ;-)
