Baby Girl and her balloon
Baby Girl having fun with the mylar frog balloon (semi deflated after a couple of weeks, but still floating ;-)) this morning before breakfast.
What I couldn't take a picture of, because it would have required a 3rd arm, extra long, is that when I picked her up to take her to the family room to have her breakfast bottle, she held fast to the balloon string and it bobbed along behind us. And then bobbed along above us as she consumed her bottle, one little hand still holding onto the string and yanking it up and down in time with her sucking rhythm, and causing it to bonk me in the head every once in a while.
I figure there's plenty of opportunity each day for me to take something away from her. Especially now that she's on the move and discovering things like dirt, and stray bits of cat food that made it out of the bowl, and stuff under the sofa that we never knew was there. So we had our bottle with our balloon this morning. It was fun! :-)
