Another mystery of the universe

Why do our pets wait until AFTER I've finished cleaning the house and mopping the floors to vomit up the entire contents of their stomachs?

Since I finished scrubbing all of our hardwood floors throughout the house yesterday, the cats have vomited 3 times, and the dog has vomited twice.
