Photos by Bobbin
For Christmas we got Bobbin one of those Fisher-Price "kid-tough" digital cameras. She hasn't done much playing with it and for the last month and a half it's sat in one of her little toy bins in her room. This evening she rediscovered it, and started taking photos!
I gave her a couple of basic pointers, like "look through the holes, and when you see mommy, press the button" and then she was off and snapping photos all on her own.
She's still very much into posed shots, and so she insisted that one by one, I hold up each of her treasured stuffed animals so she could photograph them. She'd insist on having me say "cheese" and then she'd snap the photo. The flash would go off, and then she'd immediately bring it down to look at the little preview window to see the picture she'd just taken, and then she'd erupt into fits of giggles looking at it. And then she'd pick out another toy and we'd do the whole thing all over again.
